I have decided that this is too rare of an experience not to blog about & I would like to share with my family and friends the experiences that I am having staying at MoKS, Center for Art and Social Practice in rural Estonia in a town of 520 people called Mooste. (http://www.moks.ee) I will be staying here doing this residency for the month of May, 2008 followed by a two week exhibition of my work at the Y gallerii, in Tartu, Estonia. I intend to focus on isolation, as I collaborate with my brother Marcel, who is serving a 7 year prison sentence in the state of Oregon. Estonian word of the day: "Tere" meaning hello.
